The exhibition that celebrates the 75th anniversary of the institution is playing at MAM Rio

The exhibition “Museum-School-City: MAM Rio in Five Perspectives”, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of the institution, is playing at the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro (MAM Rio).

Focusing on the first three decades of its history, the exhibition presents five areas that anchor the museum’s actions: education, design, cinema, the experimental, and artistic creative movements.

It features works by historic artists such as Aluisio Carvão, Anita Malfatti, Antonio Bandeira, Candido Portinari, Dionisio Del Santo, Judith Lauand, Lothar Charoux, Luiz Sacilotto, Lygia Clark, Max Bill, Samsor Flexor, Sergio Camargo, Victor Brecheret and Willyis de Castro.

Visit MAM Rio on Av. Infante Dom Henrique, 85 from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the museum’s website.
