Manoel Veiga gives an interview to the magazine Onne&Only

The artist Manoel Veiga, represented by Dan Galeria Contemporanea, gave an interview to the magazine Onne&Only, conducted by journalist Adriana Calabró Orabona.

In it, Veiga comments on art in Brazil today, its trajectory – including electronic engineering and physics -, its working technique that hardly uses brushes, and the plans he has for 2024.

According to the artist, “I learned to work in stages without losing general fluency. Over time, nature became a kind of creative partner. This is very important to me philosophically because provoking phenomena, observing them, interfering to conduct them, being forced to react constructively to unforeseen

events is a metaphor for life.”
