The 13th edition of ArtRIO is coming up!

Recognized as one of the most important events in the arts calendar, the fair occupies Marina da Glória, bringing together more than 80 exhibitors. Between September 13th and 17th, Dan Galeria will be at the fair presenting a booth with contemporary and historical artists

.

Among the contemporary works, tapestries from the series “I Went on a Trip” by the artist Elizabeth Dorazio are on display. These are images created by the artist and later reinterpreted in tapestry by Afghan artisans, thus becoming a collaborative work

whose processes are based on manual making.

In addition to Dorazio’s works, works by contemporary artists Denise Milan, José Spaniol, Knopp Ferro, Laura Mattos, Laura Miranda, Luca Benites, Macaparana, Manfredo de Souzanetto, Manoel Veiga, Pascal Dombis, Sérgio Fingermann, Thomas Schönauer will be exhibited.

Among the historical artists, Franz Weissmann, Alfredo Volpi, Ismael Nery, Jesus Soto, João José Silva Costa, among others, are on display.
