Casa France-Brazil is presenting the exhibition “Franz Weissmann: Rhythm and Movement”

Casa France-Brazil is presenting the exhibition “Franz Weissmann: Rhythm and Movement”, an unprecedented exhibition by the artist who is among the leading names in the Brazilian neoconcrete movement.

The exhibition, curated by Marcus de Lontra Costa and Rafael Fortes Peixoto, offers the Rio de Janeiro public the opportunity to contemplate 20 works that illustrate various aspects of the artist’s career.

Marcus de Lontra Costa comments that “Weissmann is essentially the voice of Rio de Janeiro, he incorporates the city’s lush landscape, its forms, its nature, its architecture and creates a permanent dialogue between art and nature, between sensitivity and beauty.”

Visit “Franz Weissmann: Rhythm and Movement” until November 19 at Casa France-Brasil, located at Rua Visconde de Itaboraí, 78, in Rio de Janeiro. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free
