“Even a small nail hole can evoke a myriad of thoughts. Just as space exists in our memory, our past is likewise marked by space. In the same way that space affects our identity, we also give identity to space. The process of work is a continuum of decision making. In this process, is it possible to have pure judgment independent of the numerous stories embedded in space? Are my decisions totally free from the interference of factors such as the form of the space, the kind and direction of the light, and the weight and character of the materials (their gravity)?
Therefore, my decisions cannot be completely free from the environment.”
