Gabriel de Filippi Villas-Boas is a photographer. The photographer was born and lives in São Paulo, with constant breaks to be in nature, between the Xingu and the Serra do Mar. Graduated in Cinema from FAAP, he directed five short films, in addition to many videos in which he signed both direction and production, among which the documentaries “Kuarup no Kamaiurá” (2016), “Come from Earth” (2018), and, recently, “Aritana, invincible in your world” (2020), filmed in the indigenous territory of the Xingu. Also in 2020, it participated in the largest art fair in Latin America, SP Arte-Foto. The son of a photographer mother and indigenist father, he learned early on to record his love for the land and to perceive the poetry immanent in life.
